Aesthetics begins with a considered consultation: your preferences, realistic expectations and the information you need to make an informed choice.
Facials
Discuss your skin, preferences and any sensitivities before selecting a facial. The products and steps used, expected downtime and home-care advice should be explained before you proceed.
Microneedling
Microneedling uses small needles to create controlled punctures in the skin. Suitability, the treatment area, recovery and aftercare need to be discussed in advance.
PRP
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. Ask your clinician to explain the preparation and procedure, the evidence relevant to your concern, the limitations and the potential risks before deciding whether to proceed.
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments. The choice of product, treatment area, potential complications and aftercare require individual discussion. They are not risk-free, and results vary.
Polynucleotides
A consultation should explain the specific product being considered, its intended use, the evidence and limitations, the procedure and possible adverse effects. Suitability should be assessed before a treatment plan is agreed.
